BECAS DE INMERSIÓN LINGÜÍSTICA EN INGLÉS EN ESPAÑA

Se convocan becas para la participación en un programa intensivo de inmersión lingüística en inglés en España, destinadas a estudiantes de Bachillerato, de Grado Medio de Formación Profesional, de Artes Plásticas y Diseño, de Enseñanzas Deportivas, de Enseñanzas Profesionales de Música y Danza y de Idiomas de Nivel Intermedio y Avanzado para el año 2015. 

El programa tendrá una semana de duración, en régimen de internado y pensión completa, a partir del 30 de junio y durante el mes de julio de 2015.

El plazo para la presentación de solicitudes será de 20 días hábiles a partir del día siguiente al de publicación de esta resolución en el «Boletín Oficial del Estado». Su publicación fue el 16 de Marzo de 2015.

CHAPTERS 15&16
  1. Who looks like Sir Hugo?

ANSWERS TO CHAPTERS 15&16
  1. Stapleton looks like Sir Hugo.
  2. Pretending both, Holmes and Watson , are in London so Stapleton would believe they are far away from Baskerville Hall.
  3. Because that night Stapleton was going to murder Sir Charles and he didn't want any witness.
  4. Because she would be a suspect as she sent a letter to Charles Baskerville about meeting at the moor gate.
  5. Because it may ruin his plan as the fog would hide the park and Sir Henry could be caught by the hound before he reached Holmes and Watson.
ANSWERS TO CHAPTERS 17&18

  1. Because he was Roger Baskerville's son and if both SIr Charles and Sir Henry were dead, he would inherit the Baskerville title, fortune and land.
  2. The phosporus made the dog shine in the dark. He used SIr Henry's old shoe to give the hound SIr Henry's scent and he put the new shoe back because it had no scent on it.
  3. He made his wife pretend to be his sister, because he thought she would be more useful to him as a free woman. He made Laura arrange a meeting with SIr Charles outside the Hall at night, so that he could take the hound there and frighten Sir CHarles to death.
  4. He tried to escape across the Great Grimpen Marsh but lost his way and sank in the marsh. His body was not found.

ANSWERS TO CHAPTERS 11&12
  1. She arranged to meet Sir Charles in order to ask him for money to pay for her divorce but she didn't go to the meeting because she got help from someone else.
  2. Because he was too angry (with them) to help them.
  3. Because anybody could live in such hard conditions.
  4. The person living on the moor is Sherlock Holmes.

ANSWERS TO CHAPTERS 13&14
  1. Because he didn't want their enemy to know about Holmes' presence to make sure Watson and Henry's safety.
  2. Miss Stapleton was not Stapleton's sister but his wife. Mr. Stapleton was Laura Lyon's friend who hoped to marry him.
  3. It was Henry Baskerville but it really was Selden.
  4. Because Selden was wearing Henry's clothes which had been given to him by Barrymore.

CHAPTERS 7 & 8

ANSWERS TO CHAPTERS 7&8
  1. Selden was a dangerous murderer who had escaped from prison and was somewhere on the moor.
  2. Because Barrymore had said that it wasn't his wife crying ib the night, but Watson could see from Mrs Barrymore's face that she had been crying.
  3. Because the boy from Grimpen post office had given the telegram to Mrs Barrymore and not to his husband.
  4. Dr. Watson heard a strange, loud cry coming over the moor and Miss Stapleton thinking Watson was Sir Henry warned him to return to London since his life was in danger.

ANSWERS TO CHAPTERS 9&10
  1. They saw Barrymore signalling with a light to someone on the moor.
  2. He was waiting to meet a lady, Laura Lyons.
  3. He is Laura Lyon's father.
  4. He loves studying the stars but during several days he had been using it to find Selden.
  5. He looked like a gentleman who was living in a stone hut, hiding from someone but he's not an escaped prisoner.

CHAPETRS 5 & 6
  1. Five mysterious things happened to Sir Henry before he left London. What were they?
  2. Why did Holmes assume that the address was written in a hotel?
  3. Was staying at Baskerville Hall a safer option than staying in London?
  4. Holmes suspected of Barrymore. Why? How did he manage to know where he was?
  5. What happened to Sir Henry's two uncles?

ANSWERS  TO CHAPTERS 3&4
  1. No, he wasn't. He died from natural causes since his heart had been weak for some time.
  2. He followed Sir Charles' footprints to the far of the Alley.
  3. Because Sir Charles' footprints changed from the moor gate to the end of the Alley.
  4. Because it showed that the footprints did not belong to Sir Charles but to a huge hound.
  5. Because all Baskervilles who had lived in the Hall have died terrible deaths and Sir Charles' work must go on for the sake of his lands.
ANSWERS TO CHAPTERS 5&6
  1. One of his new shoes was stolen;he received a warning letter from an unknown person;he was followed by a man with a large black beard; a second, old shoe was stolen; and the new shoe reappeared in his hotel room.
  2. Because the pen and the ink have both given the writer trouble since there was probably little ink in the bottle.
  3. Yes, it was. In case someone tried to hurt Sir Henry, staying in the country, it would easier to catch him afterwards.
  4. Because Barrymore wore beard. He sent a telegram to him at the Hall. 
  5. Sir Charles Baskerville, who died at Baskerville Hall three months before, and Roger Baskerville, a criminal, who had gone to South America and died of a fever.
