OUR ROOMS!

A new academic year has just begun.
New friends, new groups, new teachers and...
new rooms!!!
Learn something about them!

ROOM 1 - CENTRAL PARK

Central Park is a public park in the centre of Manhattan in New York City.

The land was bought by the city leaders more than 150 years ago
as New York was growing rapidly and
there weren`t any public green spaces in the city.

The competition to design the park was won by Calvert Vaux and
Frederick Law Olmsted.

ROOM 2 - THE TUBE

The famous London Underground is also known as the Tube.
It is the first metro in the world and it has 260 stations.
Famous lines are Central line, Circle, Victoria and District line.
The newest is called Jubilee line.

ROOM 3 - PICADILLY CIRCUS

Picadilly Circus is one of the best known places in London.

It`s a good place to meet around the steps of Eros but
it is mainly famous for its colourful and brightly lit advertising signs.
