ANSWERS TO CHAPTERS 7&8
- Selden was a dangerous murderer who had escaped from prison and was somewhere on the moor.
- Because Barrymore had said that it wasn't his wife crying ib the night, but Watson could see from Mrs Barrymore's face that she had been crying.
- Because the boy from Grimpen post office had given the telegram to Mrs Barrymore and not to his husband.
- Dr. Watson heard a strange, loud cry coming over the moor and Miss Stapleton thinking Watson was Sir Henry warned him to return to London since his life was in danger.
